Jake has handled appeals in Florida and Ohio state appellate courts, along with the Third, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eleventh federal circuit appellate courts. Among his appellate highlights are successfully reversing orders compelling appraisal of insurance claims, reversing an order denying certification of a class of over 200,000 members, and successfully defending numerous Rule 23(f) petitions.
